They show that a mix of attitude-, behavior-, and situational-based questions offers a more complete picture than STAR questions alone—and better predicts who will thrive at work.
We approach from scientific research (Wingate & Bourdage) the different goals of a selection interview. We find that combining all these purposes in one interview is difficult. We give recommendations on how to better approach the structured interview.
